"Faced with the task of redesigning a very successful venue-specific production for an under-resourced national tour I dreamt up the idea of the cast setting some of the set elements during the first scene using helium filled balloons to fly bunting above the stage and audience. The project's production manager (who didn't share the dream) thought of a lot of reasons why it wouldn't work. Ultimately the cost of the helium killed it off." Stephen Curtis, 2019.
